BAJAJ PULSAR 200NS REVIEW

Bajaj launched the Pulsar 200 NS in India which is priced @ 91,500 (Ex Delhi). It is available is Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, Pearl Metallic White and Sapphire Blue shades.

EXTERIOR, INSTRUMENTAL CONSOLE & BUILD QUALITY 

The exterior design is quite very good and build quality is very good too. The elements like headlights, tail lights, perimeter frame & alloys goes quite well with overall design. The bike has dimensions of 2017/804/1075 mm (length/width/height), wheelbase of 1363mm, ground clearance is 169mm and weighs 145kgs. The instrument panel is all digital which display speedometer, neutral blinker, trip meter, odometer, fuel gauge and analogue tachometer. 

ENGINE POWER, PERFORMANCE & MILEAGE
Powering the bike is a Triple spark 200cc single cylinder Petrol producing power of 23.17 Bhp@ 9500rpm & torque of 18.3 NM @ 8000rpm to a 6 speed (1 down & 5 up pattern) gear box with the company claimed fuel economy of around 40 Kmpl. Top speed of 136 Kmph & 0-100 in around 9.8 Sec. 
The powerfull engine helps by providing very good acceleration in the rev range and the overall performance is great which has very good power in city as well as highway helping overtaking etc with ease and the gearbox in all works very well. The overall fuel economy is very good and having a fuel capacity of 12 Lts.

RIDE, HANDLING & BRAKING

To begin with the suspension at front is 34mm Telescopic Fork with antifriction brush & at rear is Nitrox Mono shock absorber with piggy back gas canitser setup and the tyres being 100/80 front & 130/70 rear R17 alloy wheels. The ride quality is quite very good  making for a pretty much comfortable ride in city as well as highway. The handling overall is very good, In city it handles pretty well dealing with road conditions and in highway does very good as well. The straight line stability is very good and does very good job of handling in corners. The brakes are of 280mm front pettle disk & 230mm rear pettle disk and are very well setup and the response from this is very good overall having good feel & feedback.
