Yamaha launched the R15 Version 2.0 in India which is priced @ 1,18,373 (Ex Delhi). It is available is Adrenaline Red, Sparky Green and Revving Blue shades.

EXTERIOR, INSTRUMENTAL CONSOLE & BUILD QUALITY 
The exterior design is great and build quality is great too. The elements like dual headlights, tail lights, delta box frame & alloys goes very well with overall design. The bike has dimensions of 1970/670/1070 mm (length/width/height), wheelbase of 1345mm, seat height of 800 mm, ground clearance is 160mm and weighs 136kgs. The seat hight of this bike is 800mm. The instrument panel is part analogue & digital having analogue tachometer & digital speedometer, trip meter, odometer, fuel gauge and also has distance to empty & low fuel warning light. The battery is a 3.5 AH (10H) sealed type. 

ENGINE POWER, PERFORMANCE & MILEAGE
Powering the bike is a 149.8cc single cylinder liquid cooled engine with fuel injection producing a power of 16.8 Bhp @ 8500 rpm & torque of 15 NM @ 7500 rpm mated to a 6 speed (1 down & 5 up pattern) gear box with the company claimed fuel economy of around 40 Kmpl which is very good and has fuel capacity of 12 Lts . The bike has a top speed figure of 131 Kmph & 0-100 time in around 13.2 Sec. 
The engine has very good low-end and mid-range punch which helps by providing very good acceleration in the city and the overall performance is  very good which has very good power in city and highway providing very good highway performance helping overtaking etc without any issue. The gearbox works very well providing great shift's.

RIDE, HANDLING & BRAKING
To begin with the suspension at front is Telescopic Fork with & at the rear is Linked type Monocross swing-arm which is setup in balance to take on City & Highway conditions and the tyres being 90/80 front & 130/70 rear R17 alloy wheels. The ride quality is great for rider making for a very much comfortable ride in city by absorbing bumps well and also great  in highway but the Pillion seat lacks comfort and a bit more space. The handling overall is Excellent, In city handling is great dealing with road conditions and also in highway it does excellent. The straight line stability is great and does great job of handling in corners. The brakes are of 267mm front disk & 220mm rear disk and are well setup and the response from it is excellent overall having very good feel & feedback.
